Europe's most prestigious golf tournament comes to Kitzbühel
The DP World Tour, formerly known as the European Tour, will return to Austria in 2025. With a total of 42 tournaments in more than 26 countries, it is one of the most prestigious international tournament series in professional golf and serves as an important career step towards the PGA Tour for many players. The Austrian Alpine Open is a new tournament format that will be held alternately at the Gut Altentann and Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith courses from 2025 to 2028. After a successful premiere, Kitzbühel Tourism is already looking forward to 2026, when the region will host the second edition.
The Bichlhof is located directly at the GC Eichenheim (18H) and can also be played during the tournament. The hotel's own e-carts will take you comfortably to the golf course.
