As dog lovers and Labrador owners of Luna, the family Hopfner know what is important on a holiday with a dog.
The fantastic location of the Bichlhof makes it easy to walk your dog, as you will find around 10,000 m² of garden space right next to the hotel as well as wonderful paths for people and animals. Even your friend with a cold snout will feel right at home here.

- Our own garden suites with direct access to the garden
- In summer there is a stream close to the hotel for swimming and a forest for cooling walks
- Ergonomic dog beds and water and food bowls can be ordered in advance (for a fee)
- Your dog is also allowed on the golf course - at the GC Eichenheim (directly at the hotel) you can take your dog onto the course for a fee

What do I have to consider when travelling with a dog?
Please let us know when you make your booking if you would like to bring one or more dogs with you. Please also let us know how big your dog(s) are.
In which areas of the hotel are dogs not allowed
We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the wellness area, on the sunbathing lawn by the pool or in the restaurant. However, if you would like to bring your dog with you for breakfast or dinner, please let us know and we will be happy to reserve a table for you in our Zirbenstube or on the panoramic terrace, where your four-legged friend is welcome to accompany you.
Are dogs allowed in all room categories?
Dogs are not allowed in our allergy-friendly Tauernblick double rooms, Kaiserblick double rooms and Panorama suites.
Can I hire dog beds at the hotel?
Ergonomic dog beds and food bowls for € 20.00 per night
To give your faithful companion a great holiday, we provide you with ergonomic dog beds from Dogstyler and dog food bowls.The dog beds in M or L are made of porous, dyed-through artificial leather and are therefore absolutely hygienic, antibacterial and odour-inhibiting.The bed slats have an orthopaedic base and a 3-layer top layer so that your dog feels completely comfortable.Please let us know before you arrive and we will bring it to your room in advance so that your dog feels right at home on arrival.
Are dogs allowed on the golf course?
Are there walking paths from the hotel?
Around the Bichlhof you will find numerous paths where you can walk your dog. There's nothing better than having nature right on your doorstep. Not far from the hotel there is a beech forest, which provides a cooling walk in summer and there is also a stream right next to the hotel for the dogs to swim in. Our reception team will be happy to help you with further route planning.
